The Doordeck Box PoE is the hardware solution for building’s that don’t currently have an access control system. The Box PoE works with Doordeck’s Contactless tiles and market leading cloud infrastructure and software.
The credit card sized Doordeck Contactless Tile’s can be mounted next to the door in seconds, no batteries or power are needed for the tile.
Activation to pair to the Doordeck Box and door takes minutes. Just activate, stick and unlock. When there isn’t internet connection available Doordeck Box 4G provides the solution.
The Doordeck Box PoE is commonly installed for Apple watch and smartphone entry to new or existing buildings that don’t already have a networked access control system installed.
Installing a Doordeck Box PoE takes a fraction of the time and cost that it would normally take to install a traditional access control system and is superior in terms of security, unlocking speed and in capturing data to be able to understand your building.
The Doordeck Box PoE comes in 2 versions. The Doordeck Box PoE One and Doordeck Box PoE Eight.
The Doordeck Box PoE One has a 1 door controller and a license for 1 door (unlimited users) for Doordeck smartphone contactless entry.
The Doordeck Box PoE Eight has an 8 door controller to be able to control up to 8 doors (unlimited users) in a building. Just add the number of door licenses for the required number of doors you’d like to activate.
A power socket, network port, maglock or strike lock is all that is required to use the DoordeckBox PoE.
Both versions of the Doordeck Box PoE provide access for an unlimited number of users, for no additional cost.

The employee uses their smartphone and Doordeck Contactless NFC tile to send a request from smartphone to Doordeck Cloud to the Doordeck Box PoE which then unlocks the door, barrier, gate or bollard.
