Our partnership with Sentry Interactive brings smarter access control with facial recognition. Doordeck’s cloud-based access control software integrates with the Sentry Interactive Tower facial recognition software to provide the fastest, most reliable and most secure keyless door entry.
The camera on the tower scans a person's face on approach. The facial recognition software matches the prefabricated facial map up against the person standing in front of the camera. Verification takes less than 3 seconds, once verified access to the facility is granted. It's as simple as that.
The facial recognition software builds a facial map through numbered data points on a user’s image of their face that is uploaded, creating a completely unique digital key. Once the facial map is created the image is deleted from the access control system. This makes the technology GDPR compliant regarding personal data storage.
The face is the most secure digital key out there. As a touchless solution it is one of the most secure biometric authentication technologies, ensuring the secure exchange of sensitive access data. There is also no compromisation of security from lost or stolen door passes.
Anti-spoofing through liveness detection also eliminates fears of access deception. The facial recognition software uses age, gender, mood detection and head orientation to eliminate security risks.
Facial recognition replaces physical visitor door passes. Doordeck offers visitors digital contactless solutions to either use a QR code, NFC keyless entry, or facial recognition. The admin process of adding visitors is easy and can be managed remotely. For visitor facial recognition, a guest will be required to take a picture of their face for the facial map to be registered by the system. The system will hold the data points of the guest pass but will only grant access when instructed by the host to provide an efficient entry solution for a regular visitor.
